Virgin Blogger on the Loose

Yes. Its true, I have fallen into the trap of blogging! We'll see how long this lasts... Its been, well, almost a year since Nick and I have been married. Crazy how fast time goes! When goin through pre-marital counseling, theyre sure to make sure you have covered all of the big topics before you say I do. We covered everything from holidays, to finances, to kids and pets. My answere to kids and pets? No. No. No. Well, I think I lasted approximately 2 weeks after we got home from our honeymoon before it was said. Those words that Nick feared..."Nick...Dont you think it would be SO fun if we got...a dog?" Now, if any of you know me, you know that when I get an idea, I kinda sorta run with it, wont let go of it, and possibly beat it into existance. Ta-Da! Febuary rolls around and Nick caves, (being the fabulous husband he is) oh watch out, the hunt for the Bitch is on! (the dog of course!) One fine fine rainy wet Oregon day I was cruising Craigslist.com when I found her. That beautiful beautiful smooshed faced, snorting, sock stealing, poop eating pup. She was so cute in her sweet little sniffing self. so, yes, we brought her home, not of course without immediately stopping at the store to find some sort of fitting dish set for her, you know, one with rhinestones and diamonds on it. Only something she deserves... Of course they had nothing fitting, so that would have to wait until morning. Any hoo...Here I go on my tangents... All you need to know, is we are a very crazy, slightly disfunctional family that loves eachother very much... Be prepared for some awesome stories of the Van Loo house that will most likely make you fall asleep, bore you to death, or maybe make you smile.
